early review: mmm how about only 50 years of solitude, please? yes, that's pretty much how i feel at this point. getting less and less interested. i am amused, though, by how the love stories in this book resemble the absurd behaviors in gothic love stories like wuthering heights but that entertainment value disappears really quickly. you feel invested enough (the book is long enough!) to make you curious about how the 100 years will end. so, i will read on. and of course, i have decided to finish my books now. oh, yes yes yes.
